Salesforce Consultant/Developer — Field Service Lightning

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce implementation projects
  • At least 2-3 projects with significant focus on Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL)
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce development: Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with DevOps tools and CI/CD practices
  • Strong understanding of service operations and mobile workforce enablement
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • English proficiency at the B2-C1 level, both written and spoken

Field Service Lightning Expertise

  • Hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Field Service Lightning in complex service environments
  • Strong understanding of FSL components:
    • Service Territories, Operating Hours, Skills, Work Types
    • Service Appointments, Work Orders, Service Resources, and Crew Management
    • Scheduling Policies, Optimization Engines, and Dispatcher Console
  • Experience configuring and extending the FSL Mobile App and customizing mobile flows for technicians
  • Familiarity with asset management, maintenance plans, and preventive service scheduling
  • Ability to implement custom scheduling logic, validations, and mobile UI enhancements using Apex, LWC, and Mobile Publisher
  • Experience integrating FSL with IoT platforms, ERP systems, or third-party routing/scheduling tools is a strong plus
  • Understanding of FSL data model, service lifecycle, and dispatch operations
  • Ability to troubleshoot scheduling, syncing, or mobile app-related issues in FSL
  • Experience with offline mobile functionality, multi-language, and multi-region setups is beneficial

Certifications (Required):

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
  • Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant
  • Salesforce Certified Field Service Consultant

What you’ll do:
  • Design and Deliver Salesforce Solutions: Customize and extend Salesforce using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows to meet service business needs.
  • Implement and Configure FSL: Set up and maintain key FSL components, including service territories, service resources, work types, skills, scheduling policies, and mobile settings.
  • Translate Business Requirements: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to define functional requirements and translate them into scalable FSL configurations and customizations.
  • Contribute to Solution Architecture: Participate in technical solution design, especially in areas involving scheduling optimization, mobile app usage, and dispatching logic.
  • Ensure Solution Quality: Apply Salesforce best practices for scalability, performance, and maintainability in both FSL configuration and custom development.
  • Integrate with External Systems: Build and support integrations with ERP, asset management, and IoT platforms to enable field service automation.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with project managers, developers, consultants, and QA engineers to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
  • Support Deployment Processes: Participate in version control, CI/CD, and environment management using tools like Salesforce DX and Git.
  • Stay Current: Keep up with Salesforce Field Service innovations and evolving mobile service trends.
