Providing a tool that allows you to cover several needs of the hospital and its clients at once using Salesforce.
The client is a hospital in the Netherlands that needed to develop a solution to provide a secure tool for patients and administration, focusing on the patient's data and recovery processes.
The doctors in the hospital have been navigating a specific secured environment for the data input and storage, which was inaccessible to the patients. Also, the existing platform had gaps in UX and was inconvenient for administration.
Another point to comply with when we were developing the system was the government security requirement for any application that works with patient data.
The customer requested a universal solution since many patients are going through similar recovery journeys, resulting in a need to develop a generic templates mechanism to optimize the recovery processes.
During the development stage, several Salesforce platform apps and Experience Cloud have been designed to support the hospital's patient- and management-related processes.
To comply with the government regulations regarding the storage and use of sensitive medical data, we created a specific integration to support secured data exchange between systems and storage in Salesforce.
Our experts have set up several components and established the automated process to provide a flexible recovery template mechanism with version support and to facilitate integration with the hospital system.
Additionally, we have delivered the custom implementation of the DigID process with the third-party authority provider. The process was aimed at automatically creating the community user records and providing certificated secure access to personal data. DigID – describes the importance for a user from the UX perspective.
As the project was released, all hospital patients received access to their medical data and recovery path through Experience Cloud, where your BSN number is the crucial element.
The hospital’s medical employees are now equipped with a tool to keep track of the care plans for the specified patients and have assistance in correctly selecting the correct Care Module for treatment. 100 000+ active patients and users are currently using the systems.
